Allergies are not from a lack of pharmaceutical products. Surpressing the symptoms while not solving the underlying problem simply makes things worse.
The most important thing is to desensitise yourself and avoid triggering the reactions. To desensitise, the face soaking method mentioned above is good. Also use a netti pot several times per day to flush the nose and sinuses. Wash your hands regularly. Wash your face as soon as you come in from outside. The weirdest trick is to put a chia seed in each eye for about 30 minutes. That will absorb tears, removing irritants and lessening the inflamatory reactions.
Getting your bowels moving regularly could take several weeks but it is important. Excess mucous in the upper respritory tract dumps into the bowels and you want to get that stuff out of your body. Check out the
Bowel Cleanse Forum for a variety of techniques.
Once the bowels are moving, the liver cleanse will start you on the path to eliminating your allergic responses. When my allergies start bothering me, I know it is time for another liver flush.
Improving your diet, identifying foods that trigger problems and eliminating them, is a gradual and long term effort. Radical changes to diet don't work as well. The body needs time to adjust to new patterns. Add one good new food, subtract one bad old food, then feel the difference. Then do another, pause, another.... Eventually, you will find that you aren't attracted to the foods that cause you problems.
You will be healthy, in balance and attuned to your body. If you feel the start of allergic response, you will know what your body needs you to do to alleviate it.
