My English is not so great that I understand what you mean with the expression smarty pants message. It is not an expression I have ever used. I don't know if it is a joke or whatever.
Assuming you did not know what I meant with the viewer amounts. Here it is.
Since you can see how many people click on you know is being read. If other messages follow and people still click on they are interested in the subject.
You will find depending on the subject by message 4 etc. less and less people read it. I gave this info for the 1st poster so she would realize that people do read.

Since I like to analyze things I go as far as when I put a link in a message I check sometimes how many people check the link out. And I can tell you, not many.
I have caught wrong links in other peoples messages while may be more than 30 people had read it and noone had told the poster the link was wrong. I personally like to read links they often have interesting information.
A lot of people just like to read the general messages with their coffee in the morning and are not really here to study things.

One person on the bowelcleanse once asked why it was so quiet all the sudden because she missed reading things in the morning. So I suggested that may be she could start some discussions.
Writing is very time consuming (especially for me as a 2 finger typist) and I might have done a few hundred messages in the last 3 years,so most people loose interest and only keep reading.

as such, it is my job to enforce posting rules.

on Support Forums are CLEAR that this is nto allowed.

Please reread your posting guidelines
which cna be found at the top of each message you post.
and is also part of your agreement with curezone
when you create a character.

If you mean something as a joke please indicate so,
otherwise it is seen as pure namecalling.

If you want to name call, go to a debate forum,
they are a bit more tolerant on debates unless you get really
personally outrageous.
