To fight all the overindulgence I'm expected to participate in during the holidays, I decided to have a psyllium shake during lunch on those days I know I'll be eating too much at dinner time (and it has helped). After one a couple days ago, I was surprised to notice this morning that I passed a rope about 8
inches long! I have done several P&B shakes, one just a couple months ago, and haven't produced any ropes since my first one last year. I thought I was "all clean".
1. Can anyone give an idea of how long these things take to form?
2. What is a sensible schedule to get these nasty things out?
3. And does having the shake in the middle of the day (after having eaten breakfast earlier) produce better results? When I've done the P&B in the past, I drink one first thing in the morning and one when I come home from work in the evening. This is the first time I've eaten breakfast, then done a shake about 4 hours later.
