I have chronic constipation for many years,together with CFS.I have done parasite/kidney/herbal Bowel Cleanses and 10 liver flushes.However I am unable to have a bowel movement without some kind of laxative/ Oxypowder .I have painful haemeroids that constrict evacuation unless a very loose BM.Has anyone a regime/protocol that will get peristalsis back on track? I would like to do PB shakes,as I suspect I have mucoid plaque, but I know I will not be able to pass them as things are.I would be most grateful for any help.I am 60 years old.Deotima.

This is a reply to # 460,905Are you drinking sufficient water? You should be drinking in ounces of water, your body weight in pounds. So, if you weight 160 pounds, you should be drinking 20 eight oz glasses of water per day. Not drinking enough water will definitely cause BM problems. Remember, only consider the water you drink, not all liquids. More info at Benefit of Drinking Water.
If you are indeed drinking enough water, have you tried a cathartic like drinking aloe vera juice - not the drink, but the juice? I find that this not only loosens things up, but also lubricates my insides and helps heal any internal abrasions.

MoreThis is a reply to # 460,905I have this problem too. I think in my case my intestines were sripped of their good flora by over prescribed Antibiotics . I have at times been able to get myself moving again- this happened for a few months last year while taking a new probiotic. As soon as I started trying to Liver Flush though, it stopped again. I think they again stripped away the good flora. I've not been successful since then at restoring proper peristalisis. Unfortunately when candida gains a foothold ( like it has in my case ) it's extemely difficult to get the terrain healthy again. I'm in the process of trying to get some goat yogurt- I've read it's very easy to digest ( this is a HUGE problem for me ) and it has the beneficial bacteria- not to mention lots of other healing properties.

MoreThis is a reply to # 460,921My suggestion is, since reading Andreas book, to use either the Oxypowder or colosan twice a week. If you have the book read up on it. I actually use it more often, but that's me, not everybody is the same.
It is a cathartic and it provides an aerobic environment and is therefore beneficial for the "friendly" bacteria. There is more but since the book is copyrighted I prefer not to quote everything, at least you might be able to follow this. I don't know about the hemorrhoids, but at least you can take enough of the cleanse so that you have liquid movements and it won't effect that problem.
Also google curezone right at top of page and put in hemerrhoids.
For total health you might have to change your eating habits.

This is a reply to # 460,927Thanks for all your help.I thought I was drinking enough water,but perhaps not.I have unfortunately had several courses of anti-biotics for tooth abcesses recently that have wiped out the good guys in the gut, and will have to try and re-establish this when this course of dental work is finished.
