Hello,
I am asking everyone to please pray for me. In February 2003, I took a Liver Flush and within a few weeks, I landed in the hospital nearly dead! I had a stroke AND almost died of liver failure.
This has caused me to have severe edema in my lower extemoties.
I ask that you please pray for all this fluid to leave my body so I can start to get back to normal.

I have thought about you a lot and am glad to see that you are back. I cannot remember what all herbs your Naturopath had you taking all those months ago? I've tried many times to go into the chat room but no one was there.
Anyway, I have lost a lot of the swelling since March, but my abdomen is being VERY stubborn! It too, has gone down in size but FAR from normal yet. I am seeing an acupuncturist now and it seems to be helping the edema. I'm really upset with my health insurance doctor because she insists there's NOTHING wrong with my liver because the enzyme tests come out normal. I imagine alot of the discomfort has to do with the distention, BUT I still think my liver is not healed yet, AND my acupuncturist thinks so too.

This is a reply to # 452,639All because your enzymes come out normal,it can be spongy among other things a Dr at veterans hospital told us.I have a damaged liver from yrs of Tylenol and it was only found when surgeon looked at it during appendectomy.Reading what happened to you I'm more convienced than ever not to put that kind of stress on my liver.I do believe in them tho,just not for some pp's condition.Milk Thistle is good for liver health.You can buy it at WalMart,not hard to find.Will be in prayer for you.Love in Christ,Dot.

Elizabeth, I will pray for you. I have a question for you though...Do you thihnk the liver failure/illness you are suffering from was caused from the liver flush? Were you ill before the flush? The reason I am asking is because I am currently on a cleanse (Master Cleanse) and a lot of people are encouraging myself and others that are on the cleanse to do a Liver Flush after we complete the cleanse. Can you tell me what Liver Flush you did/what/how you did it???
Thank you for sharing...you may help keep someone else from becoming ill....

I was normal BEFORE this flush. I know many people who can take Liver Flushes and do fine. But I've also met a few people who are not fine!
My naturopath gave me Dr. Richard Schulze 's method.
