I wondered if you could answer this question. I gave myself my first enema yesterday. I used a Fleet mineral oil. Then a Fleet saline solution. While using the mineral oil, I pulled the nozzle out of me, thinking the oil was all in me. There was still a fair amount. I pumped up the partially collapsed bottle so it was full of air, thinking it would be easier to get the rest of the oil in me. It turned out the oil didn't go in easier. I withdrew the nozzle again from me, collapsed the bottle, reinserted, and got most the oil out of the bottle and into me.
Shortly thereafter, I felt a bit of pain on my left side, under my ribs. Since then, over the last day, I've felt small pains elsewhere in my stomach area. Not always, but often.
Could it be that I introduced air? And that's what's hurting? There's no blood in my stool.

This is a reply to # 441,650Hi I would really not recommend the fleet enema as it barely gets rid of anything. Mineral oil is not a good substance to put into your body. If you go to the drugstore walgreens etc they always have an enema bag that you yourself fill up with water, olive oil, coffee, etc. This allows you to be fully aware of what is in it rather than pre chosen liquid. Also with the fleet enema there is so little water that goes in. If you use your own enema bag it will hold about a quart of water. I personally will do about five bags or until the water runs clear.
Probably the pain is your body reacting to the mineral oil, the contents of your colon or large intestine shifting, possible gas pocket, or something of the like. Do another enema to clear out anything that is in there. Do you get constipated? if you have any more questions that I did not cover I would be happy to share more enema tips!
