good point - the forests are falling.
and failing.
2/3rds of the world's forests "disappeared" in the 2th C. One more century , at that pace, would see them all gone by 2050.
{"disappeared" means we cut them down, mostly.
There were Fires also, many of which we humans start, and others that we put out, both of which seem to be bad for the forests.
"If you lose, don't lose the lesson" [Dali Lama]. The lesson in losing all our forests might be:
- don't mess with big huge things we don't understand , like forests. or the atmosphere. or the sun, duh. or the oceans.
