I have a question for you that I have often asked myself.....
If you had lived back when Jesus walked the face of this earth, how would you have reacted to him? Would you have been on the side of the people who got mad at Jesus who healed the man because he healed him on a Sunday? (You know, that was the Lord's day.) Would you have been one of the critical, judgemental people who couldn't believe he would actually talk to postitutes, have a meal with a hated tax collector, who had a temper and threw out the money changers at the temple, who washed someone's feet......and actually hung out with the "misfits" of that time. Peter, James, John..... I could go on and on, but my point is, we all have a picture of how things should and should not be. That is wrong of ALL of us.....
After going over your many posts on this forum and others, you have to tendency to have the opinion "my way or no way." That is wrong.
Again, as I posted in another forum, you are going to have a lot of explaining to do when you get over to the other side....Bless your heart. Paulette G.Advertisement

This is a reply to # 437,482I may be overstepping, because I'm not Dot but I just thought I'd like to give my two cents, this is by now means meant as rude or condemning (so please don't take it that way)
I think what Dot means in a lot of her posts' is that God is very clear about His ways, and the Bible is clear in teaching his ways. I don't think Dot is trying to communicate that it is "her way" I believe that she is trying to teach or pass on what the bible says.
I know that if you truly believe something and have a strong passion in that belief that when you teach or pass on that belief it can easily be portrayed as "my way or the highway" It is the same with any belief system, not just Christianty.
If I lived when Jesus walked the earth, I believe that I would be just as passionate about Him and His teachings as I am today, if not more so. You see at that time, I would have seen some pretty awesome miracles taking place and witnessing perfect love that accepts anyone no matter what or who you are....
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
It can't get much clearer than that.....what do you think?
I hope I was clear on this, sometimes it is so hard to portray a message through a machine :)

It is so good to hear from you. I am sitting here at my computer with my Bentonite clay and organic apple cider vinegar mask on my face with my zapper attached to my body looking pretty scary! I am also trying to figure out how I can NOT go to work today, but nothing has jumped out at me yet, so I will probably give in and go. Yuck!
I appreciate your answer and you are right. The reason I wanted to respond to Dot is because she misunderstood a post Rudenski had written and she was questioning his sexuality, which was NOT the point he was trying to make.
I want this forum to be open to ALL christians and be a forum about love, but, on the other hand, it was important to not have our friend portrayed in a light that is not correct.
I hope you have a better Monday than me. It's going to rain all day!

I agree that a mistake was made by assuming that Rudenski, was speaking about his sexuality, when in deed he was talking about his spirituality....HA
I too would love this forum to be open to EVERY Christian, where we can share our beliefs with the belief that "Jesus is Lord" tying us all together. Love should prevail here, that is why the debating should be kept for another forum, it seems we get too hot while debating..
It was good to correct Dot, and I hope she takes it that way and not too personally.
Do you work Tuesdays? if so, have a great day working, I'm off to work myself. It is a very hot day here, and I'd rather sit by the pool!
