We use The Greenstar. Its a twin gear model and works very well. It also juices wheat and barley grass and grinds nut butters. It even has an attachment for pasta.
I belong to a
juicing forum and it seems that most of the "juicer crowd" there has The Green Star. Most people love it.
It incorporates twin gear technology and squeezes the juice out of the vegetables. It also utilizes magnetism which allows the juice to be saved up to 48 hours with minimal loss. Also, because the juice is made at low rpm's, their is very minimal enyme destruction in the process.
Another thing to consider is making your own saltless saurkraut.
Very healthy and tasty too.
