If it says external use I'd avoid it as it may have impurities, etc. I get mine from a pharmacy. You can always ask for it for internal use as it is used as a laxative.

Yes, there are 2 types - one for external use for bathing in and one for internal use. You should be able to get it in the laxative section at your pharmacy. If you cannot find it, ask the pharmacist, but do not take internally the Epsom Salts that says "for external use only".
