Hello:
For a couple of weeks around the new year, I had hints of a cold... coughing and such, but the coughing is essentially gone. For several months I have been waking up with a sore nasopharynx region (just at the back of your throat where your nasal passages connect to the mouth's throat) but it has only been a minor nuisance. Still, I'd sure like to resolve it... it might be related to the nosebleeds I got a couple of times this month. It's not as bad as it was at first though.
What is really concerning me is that at the moment, I will get what feels like a sore or inflamed throat, but it only occurs after eating, and it also seems to be triggered by specific foods. I haven't yet figured out which foods they are, or what ties them together, but whole, natural fruits and vegetables don't bother me at all... today, for example, corn chips seemed to make my throat sore, but carrots and
Celery and raw sunflower seeds, and a host of fruits, and yogurt were fine.
Just wondering if anyone might have some ideas as to what's wrong with me, and what I could try to alleviate it.
I generally eat a very good diet, with almost no refined sugar, I don't eat most meats, except for fish, and I eat very little flour or bread products (as most contain sugar).
I exercise daily to oxygenate my tissues and stay fit.
I have started using a humidifier in my bedroom, hoping that it will help with my sore nasopharynx (upper throat).
I'm wondering if perhaps I've developed an allergy to a bunch of foods, and that is why my throat swells as it does!
Thanks for any info...
