I've been having problems with my kidneys, even after cleanses.. and nothing seemed to have helped.. I saw this on the internet, a friend bought some, gave my gf a few, and the results were nothing short of amazing!
So I bought some, and used it.. My left side was always the bad side, (I suspected) and the patched proved it! The patch on my right foot was only slightly brown after overnight use, but the left patch was gooey and BLACK! It looked like tar! I'm going to keep using it for 30 days...
But I recommend it to everybody! My skin feels noticably better, and my gf's skin is amazing after only two days of use. It's results you can see and feel the next morning!
I did not buy from the two companies above, I bought from a local store, but same concept (similar items). Mine was made of woodchips and cayenne pepper.
Take a look at the pics, you'll be amazed!
Do a search on "foot detox patch" or something similar to read more about them.

Another name for these patches is Kinotakara and a forum was started on these several weeks back. I have read that there are over 200 different brands of wood vinegar patches. Your sites answered some of my questions. I have been using them off and on for about 2 months. Thanks.

These are not my prices as in I am NOT a distributor or anything I just bought a bunch so more of us could use them at a more reasonable price.

I have been using the Shu Li foot pouches for my kidneys too. I think a lot of people have had amazing results.
There is a site that gives testimonials describing a lot of different uses for it. If you go to http://worldwide.shuliteam.com and click on testimonials you will see them there.
Also, on the main page you can see pictures of detox foot pouches and also of the the meridians of the feet. I put the pouches on my back over my kidneys and also on the meridians on the foot for the kidneys, which is toward the top of the arches. It is smart to place the pouches over the meridian(s) of those parts of the body you need help with.
For instance, a friend of mine who had a terrible cough put them over the lung area of the feet (on the balls of the feet) and the coughing stopped almost immediately. She was able to sleep for the first time in several days. When she had put them on the arches, they didn't help her cough.
Anyway, it is good to look at the chart to figure out the best place to put them. These things are amazing!

You see, back in May, Detoxi-Pad ($20 box of 10) had a limited promotion where one can buy 5 boxes of 10s (50 pcs.) for only $70. This comes out to $1.40 per piece. I have availed of this promotion twice and shipping cost is $16.
The promotion was supposed to end by May 30, 2003. However, I found out last week that the link to the ordering system at http://www.ccnow.com/cgi-local/cart.cgi?bluesierra_DXP-5PACK_http://www.detoxi-pad.com/buyccnow.php for the promo pack is still active! While the ad on the web site is no longer there, you can simply copy and enter the URL directly on your browser's Address field and it takes you to the shopping cart directly!
I know that the link and the ordering system still works because the order I placed last week came in this morning. While the promotion if officially over, they probably forgot to deactivate the link to it. Oh well, as long as thy ship my order.

Im wondering if actual toxins are being removed or if the color change is a reaction caused by the heat of your sole.
