Tracey,
Sometime back yourecommended the book:
EDGAR CAYCE: An American Prophet by Sidney D. Kirkpatrick. My local bookstore did not have it and I had to order it. Took a while, but I got it and read it.
Over the years I had read two other biographies of Edgar Cayce.
There is a River by Thomas Sugrue and
Edgar Cayce:Sleeping Prophet by Jesse Stearn. Numerous other books about natural healing mostly and other ranging from Atlantis to reincarnation. Enjoyed every thing I could read about the man and what he had to say.
None of the other biographies came even close to the depth of this one you recommended
EDGAR CAYCE: An American Prophet by Sidney D. Kirkpatrick. Unusual for a biography to tell the good stuff and still show some of the warts also. Some of the subject matter, I see now, would not have flown some years ago.
In one place, he mentioned something about the sexual duality splitting in the distant past. I ran across that same thing in Shirley MacLaine's book
The Camino. I had never heard of the concept before. Found it interesting reading, but until now, simply that. I must dig deeper into the concept. I do recomment this book also, if you have read her other books and if you some of what she has to say to be interesting or worthy of further study.
Tracey, I thank you. This is one of those books that I wish I had never read it so I could still have the pleasure of reading it for the first time again.
