When making tinctures . . . do you have to peel the garlic and get rid of the stems in the dried peppers?
It seems that since the mixture will be filtered that this might not be a necessary time consuming step.

This is a reply to # 42,638Someone posted about a tinture he made went bad because not shaking it. Maybe he had old bulbs of garlic, they can get moldy around them. Fresh garlic has some purple paper on it. If you take the paper off to check that would be a reason, to see if it is fresh imo.
