Hi, I'm a 43 year old nurse who has also had Acne for 27 years. I I have also been under the care of a dermatologist for many years who has tried everything under the sun including roacutane and retin a. She also put me on a high dose of antbiotics which had no effect at all except to gove me very painful and constant urticaria. So you can understand my great interest in the NLITE treatment. I live in East Sussex but would travel anywhere that could at least relieve me of some of my "lumps".Can you or anybody else recommend a clinic? Thank you. JILL.

I have made an appointment for a consoltation for Nlite treatment and was wondering how effective the treatment has been on those who have undergone Nlite. Also i live in london, are their any clinics you can recommend?

I'm wondering how your NLite treatment has gone now that a fair bit of time has passed. And has anyone else given it a go and have any feedback?

just reading up on the nlite treatment with great interest. I had never suffered with Acne up until about 5 months ago when i suddenely had an outbreak of cystic Acne on my chest and back! These were particulary nasty things that seemed to have a never ending supply of blood and bacteria in them. After seeing my GP he gave me a course of erothermycin(excuse spelling) and a topical cream including the same thing. It cleared the infected spots within 2 months though i am now left with about 8 deep scars over my chest and some on my back which wont seem to fade!

Would this laser treatment heal or reduce these scars? also how much does one treatment cost?

I'm new to this site but wanted to let you know that the NLite has worked for me!

I am a 27 year old suffering with Acne for 10 years. Mine is manageable when on the pill but as soon as I decide to come off it turns into painful red cystic Acne covering mainly my cheeks and forehead and now my back! I decided I didn't want to mask my problem any more so came off of the pill to deal with my skin.

Over 10 years I have tried most treatments excluding roacutane as I was too scared of this.

My cousin introduced me to nlite. She also suffered soul destroying Acne and after a consultation at the hospital she broke down in tears as a thoughtful and kind doctor said he could definately heal her skin with nlite no problem. Within 3 weeks her cystic acne had gone after her 1st treatment. She was unrecognisable so I soon booked my private session of nlite

I still wasn't sure and thought maybe she was lucky but it might not work for me. After my first session id say it took around 2 weeks for me to think things got better. The spots were still there but I wasn't getting new ones. The third week I had my second treatment. Comparing the photos, it had reduced by 50 percent. I am now 3 weeks after my second treatment and I have NO SPOTS! So 6 weeks in and they have gone! The texture is smoother and I can wake up in the morning without the dread of having to look in the mirror to get ready. I'm having my third treatment tomorrow as I feel another one will help with my scarring and texture. Product wise I am now just using a benzol peroxide facewash and that's it. Just keeping super simple.
