I had difficulty finding the B5. I finally found 1,000 mg capsules. That sure beats taking 18-20 of those things a day! Until I did find the B5 I started on a daily vitamin regimine that I found was supposed to help tremendously...and it did, even before I had a chance to purchase the B5. I've had large cystic
Acne for the past 5 years. Not a day passed that I did not have at least 5-10 of those big, round, red, painful things. They took months to clear up. After the vitamin fix, lots of water and altering my diet (stopped eating white bread, only do 100% wheat, not many dairy products at all, don't eat much red meat -once or twice a week at the most- and I eat all of my fruits and veggies daily). The diet alone helped some, but not totally. The vitamins I began on were....her it goes....
Chromium 500 mcg daily
Zinc 50 mg a day (high dose) Need to cut down after a couple mos.
Vitamin E 400 IU daily
Vitamin A 16,000 - 24,000 IU daily (high dose) Cut down in a few mos.
2 tsp. of Organic Flax Oil daily
I just started taking the B5 yesterday. My face had already cleared though due to the above regiment. I do swear by this. My husband has been amazed and so happy for me. I actually feel like going out to work in the yard and not being ashamed if company stops by, (trying to hide my face). I can volunteer at my kids' school, go to the store without a hat and 10 layers of makeup. Now I wear one layer of makeup to hide the fading red spots and a REAL BIG SMILE. I am totally sold on this. I bought all of my vitamins from wal mart for next to nothing. The B5 is different though and expensive. I think cause it's so hard to find.
