What is chaff?

I really don't know what chaff is, and would like someone to tell me.
I have been getting a lot of what I will call dust like particles when I have a bm. The bowl can be clouded with this stuff. Is this chaff?

Yes, it is like broken down stones, and whatever dirt there exists. It is bigger than sand, may be closer to sesame seeds.

I get a lot of this stuff all the time. I guess saw dust is a better description for me, but it sounds just like what you described.
