My dog has developed quite a bit of fluid build-up in the admonial area. We went to the vet today and he punctured it and about 1 l of fluid was removed.
Is there an herb or some other natural means to stop the fluid from building up again?

MoreThis is a reply to # 417,356The only known thing to increase albumin and help reduce ascites is CHLORELLA. I am not sure how you would be able to give it to your dog.
Unfortunately, people think that taking a diuretic reuces ascites, unfortunately it gets rid of the surrounding body fluids (ascites pockets this water in a barrier).

My dog mal 8 yrs old golden retriever has been diagnosed with a tumor on his spleen. He also built up lots of fluid in the abdominal area. Did you find a way to help your dog with the liquid in her abdomen? How is she?
If anyone can help, I am treating my dog with Essiac caps and Tru Pine. Raw diet and turmeric, ginger and peppercorn on a daily basis.
Please any advice.
