Hi boys I have had a sebaceous cyst on my cheeck for 2 weeks, and it didn't want to go away. I've tried Antibiotic cream, cortisone, and something else. Now it's 4 days I'm putting castor oil on the cyst, and it's working! The cyst is disappearing. The best is to have castor oil applied 24 hours a day,covered with a plaster, in any case wear it as many time as you can (also when you're sleeping). In a week it's all gone.

MoreThis is a reply to # 411,646Hi i had a sebacious cyst and i tried your castor oil remedy and i DIDNT work but i had it removed at hospital it was quite a large one and i saw no change in it at all, i had worn a plaster everyday all day and night zilch im afraid.

This is a reply to # 411,647VERIFIED! Castor oil does work! I didn't believe it myself then I decided to try it last night. It started to shrink down in a matter of hours. This morning I can no long do a "teeter-toter" motion with it as easily as I could last night.. And it's much less noticeable. I saw posts about tea tree oil working, but thought people that posted those messages had a vested interest... then I saw posts about castor oil working and know that obviously no one has a vested interest with that so gave it a shot. I put castor oil on a large bandaid and went to sleep.. It's amazing how it works. I thought it would only work on the cysts that were soft.. cuz mine is hard and on my scalp.. but it worked anyway.. Another week and I'm sure it'll be gone.. No surgery for me!

Might I be so bold and ask you exactly how large the cyst was? Also, can you describe the feel of the cyst, and if you were able to move it slightly; plus, could it be compressed only for it to return to its original shape?
I apologize for all the questions but I am extremely curious as to the nature of your cyst, for purely selfish reasons I suppose. I have had a "lump" behind my ear ever since I underwent cosmetic surgery (around my tenth year, approximately sixteen years ago) and have never had it diagnosed. It would be interesting to compare its nature to your own cyst/lump/growth (however you wish to describe the nuisance).
After reading some of the ancient uses of castor oil, I am utterly convinced that it is a "cure-all" -- if applied correctly...
Congratulations to you, deetro! I do appreciate reading stories such as yours.

This is a reply to # 411,647You need to add heat. Soak a cottonball with castor oil. Apply heat over the soaked cotton ball for eight minutes. I wet another cotton ball with water, put it in the microwave for 10 seconds and placed in a baggie. I heated the castor oil cotton ball with the hot cotton ball. Twice a day. The cyst should be gone in less than a week.
