What I have done, is use vegetable grade dish soap (Natureclean) in a commercial unit.
Make sure to run water through the unit a few times to clean the chemicals out of the pump before you begin.

Then after I have cleansed the carpet, I do one more light rinse with Colloidal Silver in the water so that a silver residue is left behind so mold and bacteria will be inhibited from growing.

I just had chem dry do my ex roomates room today because he had used carpet fresh on his carpet. It didn't seem to effect me but I am also not sleeping in there.If you try them maybe try them in a room you don.t spend alot of time in. Also make sure you tell them not to use the deoderizer or even one of the tanks that was used with deoderizer. They were very good about this with me.
