its happened three times now, people of different religious beliefs post their beliefs, then they are "attacked" with the hate mail of other religions. its a debate, and every side has said what they believe, which includes why they are right, and also includes why everybody else is wrong. when it comes down to it, it really is hard to debate religions with other people. if a person completely bases their beliefs on something, the bible for example, and we know in our hearts that it is correct, it is hard to debate with somebody of a different religion who feels the exact same way. no offense to anybody, and I'm not asking for it to stop (I've learned a lot!! I'm really glad this forum has perked up so much!), but out of curiosity, what do all of the religions have in common? Everybody here is simply reaching for god, and trying to help other people along the way. I am trying to learn everything I an about religion so I have read every post, and thats when this thought came to me.
also, I'm curious how we can debate religions when everybody has "proof" that their religion is the one and only true religion. whats to debate if everybody has already proven their own religion?
