Hello! It has been quite awhile since we've been on. Much has happened, but other stuff is still the same. We no longer have internet, so we rely on the library's computers. It has been a roaster this summer! I hope that the 80's, that we have now, are here to stay. I never did like my roast chicken impression! haha! We still have not started our ministry, but are still praying and holding out the belief that it will happen. I know that the Lord will bring all things aboutr in His own time. Not that that does make life difficult on us, but I will endure whatever the Lord askes of me. He has done some wonderful things though! Perhaps you rememeber, if I remembered to say anything, that I've had
food allergies . Well...they've been healed! I can eat all the foods that I couldn't eat, with no hives, rashes or upsets of anykind. Bot howdy does pizza taste good! Even my lactose intolerance has been healed. I'm still feasting on ice cream! I am off of all my medicines except one, for acid reflux. No anti-depressants of any kind! No
Arthritis meds, no allegy meds, and alomst no need for my inhailor, except that the corn's pollinating right now. I sleep only 8 hrs a night now, no more 12 hrs stints to be able to do one chore only! I even walk up to a mile a day now! Hallelujah! Mind you I still need to lose 90 to 100 lbs, but my weight has stablized. And my monthly pms visit is really every month, instead of three or four months inbetween. Ray has seen alot happen too, including weightloss. He almost never snores now. I was worried about sleep apnea, but the Lord seems to have taken care of that too.
We do have a few needs. We need our place to sell. Giving it away fell through. We need a little bit of money just now, but I'm certain that the Lord will provide with abundance. And I am near desperate for contacts, mine are literally falling apart. BUT!! I am praying and holding faith that even my eyes are open to the Lord's healing hand. But in the meantime it would be nice to have contacts that aren't frayed and stay wet longer the 30 minutes.
So that is a synopsis of where we are at. Perhaps cooler weather will prevail and walking to the library will no longer be so arduous. But know we think of you all often. God bless and take care of you all. Mary
