By the way, before I get the "don't do it" advice that is usually given here I want to say that I know quite a few people that have had
root canals done years ago and seem to have no problem whatsoever. One of them is my father, who had it done more than 20 years ago, and at the age of 67, with countless dental treatments, crowns, root canals, you name it, behind him, is healthy as he's ever been, and in much better shape than the average person his age. So please, I need an informed advice, not horror stories - there are horror stories about every medical procedure in the book. If I have it done with a recommended specialist, is it still that bad ? Is
root canal really the root of all evil ?
