This is another toughie that I've never found the answer to. Back in the 70's (I told you it was going to be tough!), Lou Rawls was a guest presenter/performer on an awards show (Grammy's?) that was, obviously, telecast on one of the three major networks. His huge hit at the time ("You'll never find" or whatever the title is) was the tune he sang onstage. In the middle of his singing he coughed. Yeah, he coughed rather loudly and continued on. Sounded sort of like a "smoker's cough". Never, ever have I seen or heard of a singer coughing during a live performance like that, especially at such a high-brow awards show. Does anyone remember that incident?
