I am a little behind times and I have to admit I just saw the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie last week on a DVD. I just loved it!!! Now the second one is out and I have heard it's better than the first.
Any reviews?

MoreThis is a reply to # 397,238I didn't see it (yet). I tried to go last night but it was SOLD OUT!!! (I am not sure that's ever happened in our small town theater). There were people everywhere! I saw Superman, instead. I enjoyed Superman even more than I expected.
I really enjoyed the 1st Pirates movie. I had no idea it was going to be such a BIG DEAL. I didn't even know that Friday was it's opening day, it was just the only day my friend was free to go to a movie. I still plan to go see the 2nd Pirates! Even if it's lousy, I like Johnny Depp, I think the pirate is his BEST look! tee hee
If you like romantic movies, Lake House (starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves) is really good. Quite clean, too.Advertisement

A close friend of mine saw the new movie and didn't like it as much as the first. And she LOVED the first one. Apparently it is much "darker" than the first...blah blah blah. I hope to get to it sometime this week.

This is a reply to # 397,247Really, I saw the movie just last night. I love Orlando Bloom, but Johny stole the show. That kiss... You-all know what I mean... yup, that was loves first kiss. It was at that point, that I completely forgot about Orlando.
The cast did a great job, and I recommend that everyone see it.

You travel the world and are exposed to things that I will never see. I was wondering if in your travels you have come across a pediatrician that maybe knowssomething about glandular disfunctions. In particular, children who do not sweat. If so, Does this preson have a book published that can be purchased with a 'formula' or something in it. My grandson does not sweat andh e is onloy 5 yrs old and it's a miserable childhood for him. Thank you. Crisiti

I just saw it and thought it was fantastic. Everyone in the movie did a fantastic acting job. Keira Knighlty was gorgeous and that Johnny Depp....mmm...dreamy. This is definitely an A+ movie, its just as good as the first. There's something in it for everyone, action, humor, fantasy, mystery, love, Johnny Depp, awesome special effects, and pirates! I just can't wait till the next one comes out! Great, great movie everyone and highly recommended!!

This is a reply to # 397,238...I did like it, but I didn't like it as much as the 1st one. It was less interesting. Not as riveting. I did love the Johnny Depp kiss WOW but that was the best thing. Some of the parts got tedious or just plain long. Umm well the main thing is that Johnny Depp is hot and I can stare at him and enjoy. That's good enough for me! haha
