Yeah, what was the replica about? Why would they need that? Because it seemed like they just did something to their brain, an implant or something, based on the end when they reversed everything and the women were themselves again. But then again, some things earlier in the movie seemed to indicate the women had some sort of fake bodies. I was a little confused about that. If the women had some kind of robot bodies like the husband who was destroyed, then how could they just revert back to their old selves?

try to find the original with cathrine ross and paula prentiss, it was great! AMC will play it once in awhile, but perhaps the video store would carry it in their classics section... although the ending in the original is still a mystry to me...
