Alchohol/Wine on the fast ok?

I'm on day 5 and things are going great but I have a bachelorette party tonight and have to make toasts/drink most likely. Does anyone know what kind of beverage will be least damaging to the fast (I read someone say they drink red wine at night for cleansing w/ the fast).
I know its not recommended...but if I have to have a few sips or a shot I want to make it the lesser of the evils.

This is a reply to # 394,035A toast is not about alcohol is it? Try using water. It is preferable over your other choices. Alcohol in any amount is bad for a fast.

One time I was fasting at a party and I kept my mixture in the fridge and drank it out of a nice martini glass. Everyone was asking ME what I was having!!
