Today is day one for me and I can't remember if when the last time I did this if I continued my exercise regime? Tonight I'm supposed to go work out...does anyone know if it's a good idea to do high impact workout on the first day of the fast? Or, should the body become accustomed to simple day to day stuff on an empty stomach before I try to push it with a hard work out?
that is a good question. I have read that you should be able to resume a daily workout, while doing the MC, but my experience gave me not as much energy as normal, so the w/o was not as intense. I also got major muscle cramps a couple of times. Hope this helps.
Actually a friend of my who did the MC, did Bikrams Hot Yoga for all 10 days of the fast and got through it just fine ... For those of you not familiar with what Hot Yoga is, try it .... it is the most intense work out and many of the people who take the class are the ones who have gotten me curious about the cleanse ... I am on day one btw ... feeling fine so far ... I plan to work out either Hot Yoga or an hour of cardio ...
Hi. I have just finished day 3. I have continued my workouts, both weights and aerobics. I do feel a little weak so I have dropped the intensity of my weight workout. My aerobic workouts do not seem to have suffered so far.
