Greets joylovepeace,

I think perhaps the scenario that savage describes would happen in a person who is alkalizing just enough to release acids but not enough to neutralize them.
Good thought!
Is there a trip point? Or is this a "sluggish" pH feedback loop?
In the latter case, the pH adjustment overshoots the intake of alkaline material. Causing stored acid to flood out of their storage areas.
The latter is why I always say ramp up and ramp down on the alky resources.
The point you bring up however is a bit scary to me if true.
It's my understanding that the feet can be over 1 pH point different than the main trunk of the body. That equates to X10 in terms of acidity.
I hadn't heard of the peeling feet business before.
Peeling feet? Muscles aching? Sounds like very high acidity to me!
Hummmm, an acidic to marginal acidic person may have an atheletes foot (fungal) problem due to the higher acidity of the feet. Might be another good indicator.
For me, I don't think your trip point will turn out valid (but should always be considered until proven otherwise). I say this because so far in my readings, the body seems to be smarted than this. What I mean by that is, the body will not release water until it has had plenty for around 3 days (+salt). Depending on blood
Sugar levels, it takes half to 3 days to go into ketosis, it's a slow transition.
However, you state
I noticed that my pH was acid while taking the drink and it concerned me, also my legs ached a little, I think I was releasing more acid than I could neutralize because my feet started to peel and this only happens to me when I am really acidic.
This has a tendency to sway me to your position because it does indeed look like a trip point was reached because you started showing acidic signs.
What you may be displaying is what happens when the feedback loops have been exceeded?!
From what you say Luv it sounds like you're very acidic.
With that in mind I would ignore my indicated ramping.
If I had your symptoms I would terminate all meat, coffee, tea, carbonated bevs for 1 week.
I would eat mostly veggies or super green food.
I would have moreless's drink a minimum of 4 times a day for the week.
Then and only then would I make another accessment.
And perhaps the alkalizing drink and the green drink is actually good for you?
???? I'm not quite sure where this comes from. Both should be good for you in terms of alkalizing.
Just to let you know, I started taking moreless's drink a week ago (was using store bought pH suppliments before), several times a day, but during the week only (at work).
The skin of my hands is now nice and smooth.
I have yet to see but one solid 7. Always closer to 6.5, but never below 6.0.
I hope this gives you some help deciding what to try.
