Hi Dave,
To add clarification to your question about carbon based minerals, as to what is best.
When I talk about the "BEST" carbon based minerals, I am talking about Plant carbon based minerals from a plant source, not a rock source, for we do not have rock grinders for teeth!!
Now this does not mean that one may not recieve a benefit from taking some forms of rock based minerals, if done properly!
If one chooses to make use of some rock based minerals , then one needs to take them with either
Epsom Salt or Lemon juice or apple cider vinegar or some form of food which will provide an acid reaction against the rock mineral as the above will,so as to cause a chemical reaction and provide for the best use of the alkaline minerals for your body!
If the colloidal mineral helps you and you like taking it , then I see no reason to stop, but you may recive better results with it by adding some of the above with it as I mentioned for better results.
But if you take too much of this colloidal mineral which seems to be high in phosphate, which the body, does need very much, but if you take too much and do not get enough calcium , then it may make you acidic, because phosphate will create phosphoric acid in the body!!
The colloidal minerals you are talking about may be better utilized by your body than the calcium carbonate and the magnesium carbonate forms if just taking by themselves and if you just take the coloidal minerals by them selves also .
To share a story with you about a person I know who had bad
Arthritis and I suggested years ago for him to take some bonemeal calcium from the store.
He started taking it and got great results for many months as the
Arthritis quit bothering him, then after many months he started having problems again and asked what to do again!
I suggested that he was probably getting too much phosphate from the bone meal and not getting enough calcium, and suggested him to change to taking oystershell calcium instead.
This he did and he solved his problems and is still taking the oystershell calcium, and this has been better than 12 years ago.
The reason I suggested him take the bone meal in the first place, was because this he could buy cheaply, and then the oystershell calcium was also cheap for him to buy, but the oystershell calcium has higher amounts of calcium in it than the bone meal has, and this man did not have a lot of money and this he could budget for and solve his problems and he had no problem taking these tablets and was happy with it.
So there are many different things one may do to help one's self!
Smile Tis your choice.
