Hello,
I posted a question on the liver forum like this, but was curious to see what you thought. Julia Chang's Liver Flush uses apple juice, but apple juice has Sugar in it right? MoreThis is a reply to # 381,477It's true that Acne people should avoid all sugars, BUT the benefits of the flush far outweigh the temporary problems due to taking in fruit juices. Expect to have a bit of a breakout as your liver releases toxins, too.
Instead of apple juice, you have non-sugar options like Liquid Phosfood, Malic Acid (the active ingredient in apples) and Gold Coin Grass. Consider taking one or two of them to soften the stones and skip the juice altogether.

Obviously the liquid phosfood is liquid but, that means i would use her flush, but replace it with phosfood and have the same Liver Cleansing affects? Sorry for all the questions. I'm not sure what you're asking. To any flush there are thee parts: the pre-flush work of softening the stones, the actual flush of taking the oil, and the post-flush protocal for cleansign the toxins out of the intestines. Do you personally finish your whole bottle of GCG for a flush?
I have the Julia Chang products, but I don't want to start with them now, b/c I'm going on vacation soon and I don't think I'd be finished with them in time!
So, I'll do these when I come back.
Same question, though: do you finish the whole GSG bottle? (I have the entire kit and plan to take the other stuff, too, for a really through job.)

This is a reply to # 381,502Oh goodness I don't even come close to finishing the bottle! LOL! I take a tablespoon a day for 7-10 days prior to a flush. Those bottles are HUGE and I have hardly made a dent- mostly becaue I forget some days. ;)

I haven't tasted any of these, yet, Shelley, but you have made a point a few times about how bitter they are!
Now -- what about the other bottles: the Coptis, Curcuma and Chinese Bitters, do you take these also (in limited dosage)?
Also, once you open the bottles, do they go bad? or do they need to be refrigerated? How long do they last *inside the bottle*?

This is a reply to # 381,505the tinctures are preserved in a pretty pure alcohol, so they should last a very long time.
When I'm 'on schedule' I take CB in the morning and Coptis at night. Don't have the curcuma, but if I did, I'd alternate between Coptis and Curcuma. This is my regular schedule until a flsuh comes up - then I switch to GCG in the mornings and Coptis at night. I believe those are Julia's recommendations too. :)
