Shelley,
I am still taking my P&B shakes daily. I use Master's Miracles products and they just introduced a product called Flax Hull Linnans. Is this okay to take IN ADDITION to the P&B shakes (not at the same time) or will they contradict each other? This is what the product literature says:
The Flax Hull Lignans are a potent antioxidant that enhances the immune system and with antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Benefits include reducing the risk of cancer and heart disease, improving kidney function, aiding in cell production, improving skin and hair, balancing hormone-related problems in women, and so forth.
Flax Hull Lignans surpass flax oil in their benefits. Flaxseeds are a great nutritional source of fiber, food energy and essential fatty acids. They are also known for containing the highest concentration of lignans (a group of phytonutrients found in seeds/grain), and are found within the flaxseed (fiber hull of the seed). It contains only pure lignans from natural flax hulls and contains 70 times the amount of SDG (secoisolariciresinol diglucoside) lignans per gram as compared to the traditional ground-up seed. This course powder has a nutty flavor and can be added to your favorite beverage, a topping for salads/cereals, in fruit and vegetable smoothies, or as an ingredient in breads, cookies, or your favorite recipe.
I usually purchase flax seeds and add them to my morning Superfood drink, but haven't done this since starting the P&B shakes.
I appreciate your thoughts on this. I plan to mix the flax lignans in my Superfood as usual. I don't take my first P&B shake until after lunch.
Thanks!
Raymond
