I have personally tried it (after reading about it in Bruce Fife's "The healing miracles of coconut oil") and my cold sore didn't even appear! It is 100 times more effective than Zovirax which imho doesn't work. And its natural - no side-effects. And its cheap!!

Since then (6 months ago) I have been waiting for another cold-sore to appear but alas no. If you try this please report feedback.
