I prefer ground himalayan salt vs coarse because I can add them to my salads etc, although in the back of my head I worry that some sources could dilute the real salt with other white salt (hard to notice up to a point). Coarse salt is nice because you see the pinkish tone but you have to grind it yourself(make sure you know the wether the coarse is for food or bath); some websites suggest if you do get the coarse salt to make sure you hand crush it or use a ceramic salt mill as not not modify the vibration pattern.
