I have three more brothers and i am the youngest one. As far as I remeber we all used to have constant ear infections despite our mom's efforts to take super care of us- we just get an ear infections just like that. Biggest complications occured to me and to my next brother- the youngsters. The result is that I lost hearing in one ear at the age of 4y. and the other brother had a nearly miraculous very dangerous ear surgery (fluid wasn't draining well and it was accumulating in his head) at the best european doctor at that time in France- narrow escape. And I had a hepatitis infection 17y. ago. I started wandering what went wrong in our family. And the big clue was that our grandma used to have ear problems as well and she and all we, brothers, had problems in the same ear- the right one! She had hepatitis too.
And even more suspicious I became when I realized that at least three of us have toenail fungus, candida infection (mom also now has a nasty fungus infection), one of us has now ankylosing spondylitis also.
Having all that info I suspect that we had a genetic predisposition to mentioned problems and that a common triger was ravaging through our family and we were not suspecting it. Now I do and I suspect that it was some kind of bacteria or virus.
So what are your thoughts on that?
