you may think is may not be unhealhty for you to loose weight but eating disorders are not about weight they are about your mind
what is going to happen to your mentality if you start loosing weight in an unhealthy way just because you want to?
if you have had an eating disorder fasting at all is abuse to your body
because if you have had an eating disorder
you have nutritionally depelated your body at one point in time
and nutrionally defficent people should not go on fasts
also to people with eating disorders think about fasts different then regular people
for regular people a fast is a tool to cleanse the body
for us it's a way to loose weight
if you have done fasting before and have binged on food after the fast DO NOT go on a fast until you are recovered from your ED
fasting is about giving the body a break NOT loosing weight! keep that in mind
if you want to get better you need to not fast untill you have recovered from an ED and that could take serveral years
you will go through a period where you are trying to find your natural weight and you will weight more then you like (I'm going thorugh that now)
but you have to perserve through it in order ot get better and be rid of your ED
