Hello, I am the father of a girl who was 18 when she contracted Guillain-Barre Syndrome. As I understand it, no one knows the causation of it; just that it's a form of mononucleosis, is rare, and there is no treatment, per se, for it. My daughter was totally paralyzed on the outside, but her insides were working. She could talk and move her eyes, but that was all. The doctors said she had a severe case and that while, usually (99%), of all such cases automatically reverse by themselves, they expected her to be paralyzed for about 6 years. My daughter was planning a career as a professional violinist, and the doctors said that, when the syndrome reverses, patients usally only get about 80% of their dexterity back, and predicted she would never play the violin again! I went to God for a miracle, and she was totally cured within 30 days, and plays the violin professionally to this day (18 years later), and is the mother of one and due with her second child this week. Her story is in my recently-published book, "Miracles Made Possible", available at bookstores nationwide, or on amazon.com
