Small bump inside penis/urethra?

Yesterday my husband felt a small bump (he said maybe half the size of a pea) inside his penis. He said there is no discomfort of pain associated with is, and he hasn't had any burning, itching, or odd sensations when urinating.
I've been searching online, but haven't found anything. Any idea what this could be? Also, we try to avoid doctors at all costs, especially when dealing with a problem about which we are clueless.
Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Are you referring to the small bumps on the underside of the penis? If so, this is on all men. If not, may I suggest seeing a naturopath or holistic doctor. Check in your area. Also check other forums on this site or other web sites that focus on male health. There is a good one called http://www.malehealthnews.com that is part of a web ring of male health news. You may want to check out other sites as well.

This is a reply to # 368,532I too have the same problem. I discovered it only a month ago. The lump is situated on the underside close to the base. I tried to massage it hoping that it will go away but to no avail. If I squeezed it, a stinging pain will be felt in the top part of the urinary tract, which was similar to an occasion one year before, when I ejaculated during sex. I can only hope it's nothing.
