Hi: My eyes are so puffy, and I have dark areas in the corner of my eyelids from oral surgery. Does anybody know a natural way to solve these problems? I read WhiteIris' post about flax seed oil for the face; does this work under the eyes, too? Thanks so much.

This is a reply to # 368,056HI here is something I just found online since I also have teh same problem with puffy eyes, I will try it too!
Remedies For Puffy Eyes: Take a metal spoon and run it under cold water. Place the metal on the puffy area for at least 60 seconds.
· Apply hemorrhoid cream (look for brands that contain ingredients of yeast and shark's liver oil) to the puffy area. Insiders have known for years that in just the way it gets the swelling out of that other area, it works the same way for the face.

· Thin cucumber slices used as compresses over closed eyes will relieve sore, puffy eyes.

This is a reply to # 368,064Hi Vanmel: Thanks so much for your suggestions. I hope these work for us. I have been using Loreal, but I want something natural, to shrink puffiness. I tried the Preparation H before, but I don't think it had shark oil in it; see if I can find it. It helped some. I've had this problem even since I was a kid. Let me know how they work for you, too!

No I have not tried it, but I need to! It is just my right eye. I think I probably need to do a kidney cleanse and also rebounding helps me with this problem.

This is a reply to # 368,056Have you done any liver cleanses. I had very dark circles before and they are much reduced since I have been flushing and made diet changes.

This is a reply to # 368,070used preparating h and it didnt work at all! just got in my eyes and made a mess, i am using Watermelon Seed Tea now daily just started today as a diuretic, i read that since teh puffiness is because were retaining water that a diuretic should work in getting rid of teh excess water and alleviate the puffiness
