i have developed a method of accelerating sprouts that enables me to grow mung bean sprouts in just 24 hours, no lie. from dry seed to full sprout in one day.
here is how i do it. i start with some good quality filtered water. i put as much as i will need to use as the soak water in a stainless steel pot. (i usually soak about 4 -5
oz. of mung bean sprouts in about 20
oz. of water) to this i add about 6 -7 drops of fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of
Sea Salt . then i energize it using the method explained here.
//www.curezone.org/forums/description.asp?f=218
(i use a 9 volt battery, and NEVER use aluminum as it suggests in the link. i use copper wires)
once its been energized i ad a very small amount of organic black strap molasses to the water. maybe about 1/16 or 1/8 of a tablespoon, not much. then i pour this energized and mineralized water over the seeds and allow them to soak in that water for about 8 hours or so. drain the water, and allow to sit in a dark place.
of course mung bean sprouts grow fast anyway, but with this method i have actually been eating sprouts in 24 hours! with other sprouts that might take 6 or 7 days i can get them to maturity in 3 days. they also tend to grow bigger and fuller.
another tip. boil some tap water, add a pinch of
Sea Salt , then energize accoding to instructions above. use this water to rinse the sprouts with twice a day. that will keep them energized and growing. someone in the wheatgrass forum used this same method to sprout the wheatberries with and said that she grew the biggest and best tasting wheatgrass ever.
if anyone tries this, let me know how it goes, i would be interested in hearing.
i asked about this on a scientifically oriented web forum and they all poo pooed the idea and insisted the "energizing" was doing nothing. but no one told the sprouts that!
caution - more is not necessarily better. too much lemon juice and bsm will kill your sprouts. the trick is to get just the right proportions, so you have to kind of experiment a bit.
