Hi everybody!
About twelve years ago, at age 22, I got a bout or two or perioral dermatitis. It's a rashy-pimply concoction that develops on a person's (usually a woman, and often women who, like me, had few pimples as a teen) chin and mouth area.
The medical community has one answer for perioral dermatitis:
Antibiotics . Everything I've read on the Internet says it won't go away without them. My own experience at 22 was the same. I had it for several months and with tetrocyclene it went away in a week.
I really don't know why I suddenly got this bout of it after twelve years of having a great complection. I'm working with an incredible intuitive natural doctor, and over the last six months my body's come through an incredible journey, so it could have been any number of things that triggered it. I just wonder now how to get rid of it!
A little about me, in case it's important:
-small, quick, dry type
-had PCOS my entire life and have just recently got my very first two "real" periods in 19 years. Have been off BC pills for six months.
- staying off wheat and milk at the moment, as they make it worse as far as I can tell.
- am using natural toothpaste. (flouride toothpastes apparently aggravate it.)
- did quite a bit of bowel cleansing and limited liver cleansing. My doctor wants me to wait on further
Liver Cleansing until she's worked on me a little longer. She doesn't detect a bowel problem at the moment in me.
Does anyone have any suggestions??
Thank you so much for your time and vast knowledge.
love Joy
