hi wattho -
i've been to Dr. Reed's website, and even filled out her online form for OCD. i got a response quite quickly, and when i had a question about it, i got a response directly from Dr. Reed.
the recommended treatment that was sent to me had NO hydrogen peroxide in it! i don't remember seeing anything about using that substance in treating OCD on her website. it was a treatment plan of supplements, designed to help the body restore balance in those areas affected by OCD.
i have not tried her program, but only because at the same time, i saw a naturopathic doctor where i live, and i am trying a treatment program with him. otherwise, i would probably give it a try. the SSRIs don't help everyone, and even when they do, the side effects can sometimes be so bad that a person can't continue taking them.
and to my mind, the SSRIs don't address the underlying biochemical problems in the body -- meaning, they don't help the body to heal itself, but instead provide an outside support. as the body "gets used to" the outside support, more and more is needed in order to find relief.
