My five year old was just diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep apnea. He has large tonsils and nasal congestion. He is allergic to dust mites, cockroaches and shellfish. The only one I'm sure he has come in contact with is dust mites and maybe cockroaches.
My three year old has just started snoring within the past week. I notice nasal congestion in him and we just installed an air conditioner. He has stopped breathing.
Could the allergies cause the sleep apnea? What's good for these allergies?
Thanks.
