I worked for Sprint PCS for 3 years, and I can tell you that
Cell Phone s do not hurt you. They have the same transmission as a transistor radio. I'm not enamored of the industry for other reasons, but I fell fairly confident in my defence of these so called RF frequency issues.
I think this is just another one of those witch hunts that well meaning people, who are not very scientific, start. I had groups of parents at elementary schools yelling that the antennae on their rooftop was KILLING their children. This was in Colorado (I think you can still find the website "Sprint out of schools"). All the experts that met with these people showed them in scientific terms that the RF transmissions were negligible by the time they even approached their children. In fact, the waves from a full moon, or as their kids watched as their microwave popcorn expanding, was by far much higher than the antennaes. The funny thing about those parents 1) their school was being paid butt loads of money and 2) the whole time they were standing up, beating their breasts and crying, there were
Cell Phone s going off constantly in the crowd!
I have no idea why there were so most brain cancer in that one group when this first broke out. But I will tell you, there is a huge cluster of
Breast Cancer in Marin, California, and no one knows why.
Now I don't want to get into a big debate on this, and I think people are entitled to whatever they want to believe. I just wanted to give my 2-cents on this!
Thanks for listening. Molly
