In my extensive reading about cancer in many publications, I have found that the American Cancer Society (ACS) has made many negative claims concerning alternative therapies while the evidence points to the contrary.
Additionally, I have read several of the standard publications from the ACS. Of the 8 or so that I have read, one mentions alternative therapy and does so as follows:
"questionable,unorthodox,unconventional,new age, holistic" and
"Alternative therapy refers to treatments that have not proven to be effective ..."
Sorry ACS,
Essiac Tea, hydrazine sulphate, cesium chloride, and large doses of green tea have all produced outstanding results and many long term cancer survivors have used at least one of the above.
The ACS makes it very obvious that they only support pharmaceutical treaments produced by large drug companies.
In my opinion, they are not worthy of public support.
So who should be supported?
AICR (American Institute for Cancer research) ... they do study alternative and nurtitional therapies.

The Burzynski Clinic (Houston, Texas) I have been there with my wife and they are an outstanding group of professionals who have produced excellent results with Brain cancers and many others.
http://www.lef.org (Life Extension Foundation) The most progressive group out there today.
There are others but I will leave it here for now.
Please note that you may earmark any donation for specific research (such as this donation is only for research with hydrazine sulfate or cesium chloride).
Just my opion folks.
