I've just received a pot of Biolanyn cream that I ordered a few days ago.
It's supposed to be very effective according to what I've read - I've found no bad comments about it on the net but I would be interested to hear if anyone else has tried it and what their experience has been. I was quite impressed that it comes with a money back guarantee.
I only got it through today so as yet have nothing to report other than the fact that it itches a lot when freshly applied which none of the reports I read suggested.
One minor point which may be of some help to other sufferers; I've found Dr Hauschka's cover stick seems (bizarrely) to work rather well on the patches on my face! Given that it's a cosmetic that makes no claims to treat Psoriasis or any other condition (except perhaps the odd zit) I was more than a tad surprised. I was using it to quite simply cover the areas but the reduction has been quite marked and I've been using no other treatment.

MoreThis is a reply to # 326,088I'm very surprised to say that this cream does seem to work. My largest patch of Psoriasis is on my elbow and the reduction in redness and peel has been quite marked. Overall the area has reduced and is much less angry looking.
I'm not so convinced of its effectiveness on my face but that has been there longer so may take longer to shift. It can be used on scapl Psoriasis but I find it impossible to get it there (long, thick hair).
I will continue to post my results with it just in case they are of use to others.Advertisement

Elleynia, have you tried Head&Shoulders shampoo for your scalp? I find that it's the only thing that'll get rid of my scalp rashes. If you wanna try it, use it for a few days until your scalp is clear, then after that once a week is enough. Head&shoulders doesn't remove my dandruff and oil too good, but it works great for the scalp rashes. So i only use it on Saturdays. On the other 6 days i use another all-natural shampoo for my dandruff & oil.- Re: Biolanyn - works Elleynia

I've found Nizoral to be pretty good and also Derma-Nova. A hairdresser friend once told me to be very wary of Head and Shoulders as its key ingredient is the same stuff you use to unblock drains!!!

This is a reply to # 326,117All commercial shampoos contain chemicals & synthetics (it's not just Head&Shoulders). That's why i only use it once a week. The other days i use an all-natural one.

My name is amanda. I have found that a shampoo and conditoner (which you have to get from salons) called NIOXIN is fantastic at getting rid of scalp breakouts! It removes the plates or plaques and other irritations! It leaves the scalp tingly and refreshed! THe best one (even if you don't color or treat hair) is the one for color treated dry hair because it has more moisturizers! You need the shampoo and conditioner (the big pump bottle are more cost effective) apply a quarter sized amount of shampoo and rub in with pads of fingers...let set for one minute atleast! Then rinse with cool water..and apply conditioner and comb it through hair root to tip and loet set three to five minutes! It is completely safe for daily use and is also great to releave headaches due to the oils in it which seem to get activated as soo as they hit water!

I haev tried the shamoo that you mentioned in your message but It did not work for me. Also, I think that shampoo's are too messy and they usually do not have wonderul smell to them, and as a women...that does not help.
Does anyone know of anything that I can use to help supress my psoriasis.

ive been using biolanyn for about 8 weeks now ,and must tell you how wonderful this stuff is. my body the whole 80% has almost cleared up. i can use it on my face and i no longer look as if i'm contagous. it works for me. but p. is such an elusive mixture of symptoms that what will work for one person does not work for everyone. try hopes calenduka cream. its on the net and will soon be in australian stores under hopes relief cream.it works on my face like a dream.and if you are overseas than they have an ordering service. you may be surprised (delightedly) by the price seeing as our dollar is worth-- pardon me--- shit. biolanyn costs me a packet but with the money i've already spent ,i just don't care. i save until i have enough to get it. and i'll keep on doing it ,and i'll be telling everybody about it.

I just got a order of Biolanyn and its does itch for a few minutes then it slowly disappears,Im using it for my Eczema to see if it improves,Im currently using steriod cream,its does help but after usuage is discontinues it returns.I update my testing with this cream,it does feels that I get a warmth feeling with this cream which it doesnt happen with my steriod cream,I also never read anything bad about Bioplanyn so Im crossing my fingers this cream helps...I think a combination of lotions and Biolanyn will help me control my Eczema...- Re: Biolanyn GoldenArm

This is a reply to # 326,314I don't know how good is Biolanyn. But you have mentioned that when you are using steriod creams, your eczema goes away, but returns when you stop using.
Once you get your ezcema under control, then you must use a good natural moisturizer as a maintenance cream. Use aveeno, or even vasoline, but many times a day. Keep one in the car and one at office besides at home. Make a habit of applying over the spots.
Just a suggestion, but it should work. Also, soon after bath, that is the time, your skin looses a lot of moisture. Withing 3 min. after taking bath, use moisturizer on entire body. Every time you wash your hand, make sure that, you moisturize your hand. Please do this appart from Biolanyn.

I just order the Burt's Bee moisturers recommended by a few posters,as you mentioned to keep Aczema under control a combination of moisturers and lotions to replenish the lost water in the skin will greatly help maintain a normal skin tone.I only have Eczema on my finger tips,the Biolanyn seems to offer a improvement only after a few days of application,hopefully with the Burt's Bee products and regular treatment with Biolayne this hideous and painful skin disease be under control..Im using only natural products right now from Burt's Bee,no chemical products..the positive results are starting to show...Advertisement

This is a reply to # 326,088After a week improvements were not at good as I expected,intially it improve the reddish marks but the skin stilled felt tight even with mosituring,their is a slight improvement but not as good as Betamthasome I was prescribed by my doctor.Its only been a short time since I start using it but their has been no progress of healing since then...I will again update my results as the months go by..

This is a reply to # 326,088Update Im temporary stop using this item,improvements was not as good as I aspected,sores somewhat improves slightly but at a cost of extremely dry skin,even with moisture lotions Biolanyn caused the skin to become brittle..
