I promote getting things from foods before pills whenever possible, so
juicing cabbage (a wonderful super-food but oh my it can give one gas!) for the organic sulphur is the best way to go, better than MSM. I recommend MSM supplements only as part of a joint/arthritis protocol or perhaps a bit of
Liver Cleansing (it's in Livatone Plus).
when your main complaints are bloating and constipation, then you need to do this combination:
lemon juice/acv or malic acid or HCL Betaine to ensure the stomach is doing what it needs to do
digestive enzymes to make sure the small intestine is doing what it needs to do
make sure 1/3 or less of your meal is fluids - preferably warm - and get plenty of water in between meals
make sure 80% of your foods are cooked then include a bit of fresh-squeezed juice or other fermented or enzyme-rich food and salad
Take in one tablespoon of a good oil 3x daily
Take in plenty of high-fiber foods: berries, raisins, dates, nuts, grains
Try to eat the same-sized meals at the same times each day. Regular packets of food keep the colon exercised and in the same shape, which allows it to "tone up" and return to a healthy shape.
Eat at least 1 tbl of lecithin daily, preferably 3 tablespoons. Lecithin is rich in Choline, which is in acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that controls peristaltic action, amongst other things.
If you have cramping/burning and leaky gut, the L-glutamine will help a LOT with that. You can also try 1/2 cup of aloe vera juice 3x daily, and marshmallow tea helps to lay down a protective layer that allows the intstines to heal very quickly and plug up the leaky gut temporarily until it truly heals.
hope that helps! :)
