Ok I did a 2nd enema - this time using the long flexi-tube. Boy what a difference! I slid it in about 4
inches and WOW! It was so easy. I managed to get 2 litres inside me no problem.
Once the water is in, it tends to meet up with whatever is already in there and stimulate a bowel movement. As a result I couldn't hold for more than a couple of minutes (I was trying to do a retention enema).
A *lot* of stuff came out - mostly partially digested food, and also I suspect the psyllium shake I had taken in the morning.
I have a few questions:
Now that my colon was empty I was tempted to refill the bucket and do it all again. Should I have done this?
When is the best time to do an enema?
If I want to do a retention enema, is it best to clear the bowels beforehand - if so how to do this? Should I just do a clear-
water enema first? If so how much water and how much salt?
Will my ability to hold the water get stronger over time, or should I force myself to hold it in?
Sorry about all the questions, but I am excited about the world of healing opportunites that this enema bucket setup has opened!!!
Thanks Shelley!!
