Hi Marks! Welcome. :)
Dr. Clark's kidney flush is for people with stones. Unless you've had pink urine, foamy urine, painful or very frequent urination, bad mid-back pain, you don't need to do that harsh of a kidney flush.
You can do the kidney maintenence as outlined in the FAQ for about 2-4 weeks in conjunction with whatever else you wish to do. Basically you rest the kidneys and urge them to cleanse a bit faster/more than they normally do by avoiding vitamins, protein, dairy, drinking water and parsley juice. I take in parsley juice with my carrot/apple juice. You can also drink tea or take herbal supplements. Carrot juice is helpful to the kidneys, the cleansing drink is too. If you tend to get tartar on your teeth, you're low on phosphorous and may want to take Liquid Phosfood/Phosphorous, that would also dissolve calcium stones.
You probably did give yourself a slight abrasion or cut when inserting the tube, just make sure to lubricate it with oil or better yet, K-Y jelly, and only insert it up to 5", no more. Don't worry, it's no big deal and will heal right up. :)
