I mistakenly thought that black strap molasses was actaully pure maple syrup so i went out and bought a bottle of pure maple syrup--very expensive compared to the norm.
Can anyone tell me if using the syrup is a good idea or not? I read one article which praised its nutritional value but can/ or should it be used as blackstrap is used? ie mixed with lemon juice etc....
I cant get blackstrap mollasess where i live--at least i have not found it yet.
